- Managing communication between clients, contractors, internal sales and design personnel; project scheduling and procurement, production and supervisory management, etc.
- Developing and delivering real estate curricula of various formats, lengths and levels
- Installing, connecting and testing electrical components of commercial grid-tied PV systems, providing guidance, technical support and training to installation teams and ensuring NEC and OSHA compliance, etc.
- Translating schematics to installation, wiring and conduit work and balance of system layout for commercial and residential PV systems statewide
- Installing and commissioning residential PV and SDHW systems, including troubleshooting, site evaluations, and more
- Performing site evaluations, designing PV systems from raw data, generating proposals and marketing collateral for start-up companies
Mr. Dyer started his career as an electrician in 1994 and has worked in the solar photovoltaics/renewable energy industry since 2005. He has installed over 2 MW of grid-tied PV on homes and businesses. Mr. Dyer also holds a California C-10 Contractor's License and California General Journeyman Electrician's License. With all of the practical knowledge and skills he brings to his career, he is a valuable resource for today's solar energy industry.
